No, fuel is built into the cost of the trip.

Will we keep fish?

Here at North Pier Angling, we encourage catch & release, however, we are more than happy to provide clients with the chance to harvest.

When in season on the Swift River, clients may keep up to a one-angler creel (3 trout) total, including groups. Harvest in the Swift will be by the guide’s discretion; no brook trout whatsoever, no presumably wild fish and no fish over 18 inches.

On Quabbin Reservoir, clients are welcome to keep either one lake trout (slot 18-24 inches) OR one landlocked Atlantic salmon (slot 15-22 inches). No smallmouth bass will be harvested.

Finally, we will not allow any harvest in the blue line streams and will instruct clients on proper immediate release.

Contact us for more information about our catch and release philosophy and our harvest practices.
